PreambleDGC, a SARL (limited liability company) with a capital of €5,000, registered with the RCS of Nancy under number 102 208 428, operating under the trade name Dressing D and hereinafter referred to as "DRESSING D", offers a service allowing individuals or legal entities, acting in a personal or professional capacity (hereinafter the "Consignor"), to dispose of their gymnastics outfits and equipment via three methods: consignment sale, firm purchase, or free transfer.
Geographical scope: The consignment service offered by DRESSING D is currently exclusively open to consignors residing in France, Luxembourg, and Belgium. Item shipments and returns must strictly take place from and to these three countries.
1. Processing Procedures1.1. Conditions for depositing an itemDepositing an item is free of charge and optional. By entrusting an item to DRESSING D, the Consignor guarantees:
1.2. Prior SelectionTo deposit an item, the Consignor must fill out the dedicated online form. DRESSING D performs an initial selection based on photos and information provided by the Consignor.
1.3. Estimation and Principle AgreementDRESSING D proposes a price estimate (selling price or purchase price) to the Consignor, who must validate their agreement or refusal directly on the website. If the Consignor accepts this estimate, they must then submit directly on the website:
Once this step is validated, DRESSING D sends them a copy of the consignment contract electronically. The Consignor may also choose, from this stage onwards, to make a pure and simple free transfer of their items to DRESSING D.
1.4. Validity Period of the ProposalThe proposal issued by DRESSING D is valid for a period of 1 month from its sending to the Consignor. After this period, the offer expires and DRESSING D reserves the right to propose a new offer based on current market conditions.
1.5. Signature and Shipment of ItemsUpon agreement, DRESSING D sends a shipping slip. Shipping costs are covered by DRESSING D. However, as delivery is ensured by third-party providers, transport-related risks remain the responsibility of the Consignor until receipt. The transport providers insure the entrusted items according to their general terms and conditions of sale. The Consignor must imperatively print and sign the consignment contract (Consignor of legal age or legal representative for minors) and insert it into the parcel. The sending of the transport slip by DRESSING D is subject to availability. In case of travel or closure, the sending of the slip may be postponed. The prepaid shipping slip provided by DRESSING D has a limited validity period. The Consignor undertakes to drop off their parcel at a collection point within a maximum of 7 calendar days following receipt of the slip by email. If this period is exceeded, the slip may be cancelled. In the event of a request to resend a new slip, the costs of the unused initial shipment may be billed to the Consignor or deducted from their future earnings (sale or purchase). Any parcel received without the signed contract may be refused or put on hold for processing.
1.6. Physical Expertise and Non-ComplianceUpon receipt, DRESSING D carries out a rigorous inspection (condition, cleanliness, authenticity). The Consignor is responsible for the quality of the deposited items. In the event of a hidden defect, they must reimburse or at least compensate the Depositary, or even the Buyer. The Consignor undertakes to send exclusively items meeting the quality charter and the list of accepted brands available on the Website. Discrepancy upon receipt: Upon opening the parcel, DRESSING D verifies the correspondence between the items received and the list validated during the estimation. In the event of a missing item or a parcel showing signs of tampering, DRESSING D informs the Consignor within 48 working hours by email, with supporting photos. Only items physically received by DRESSING D engage its responsibility. In the event of a dispute with the carrier (open or damaged parcel), DRESSING D will |
